In production since January of 2010, our Haiti: Documentary, tentatively titled: PAPA is a 5-year look into the life of a young Haitian boy, Jouvens, as he matures from a 12-year-old living in a tent following the Haiti earthquake that killed 250,000 people, to a young man symbolizing the generation of change on a quest to change the image of the country.

Jouvens

Jouvens is the young boy at the heart of our documentary. Jouvens considers himself to be a young man of many talents: photography, painting, filmmaking, writing, and a musician.

Our documentary views the ever changing landscape of Haiti through his eyes, and we follow him on the road as he travels across the country and interviews people and organizations making a difference in the country, including: Paul Farmer of Partners in Health, the Haitian musician Wanito, Sean Penn of J/P HRO, Bill Clinton, Maria Bello of We Advance, Arcade Fire, and even Haiti’s current president, Michel Martelly.
